High Idle Kit for a 460??

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone makes a high idle kit for a 1997 F-250HD with a 460 5spd 4X4. Sometimes if i am setting up camp or somethin like that i have my aux flood lights going with my camper lit up, would be nice to be able to lift the idle a few hundred RPM so alternator would be spining just a bit faster.

Thanks for help guys
Jeff

According to Mitchell, when the AC is on, it sends 12v to pin #10 and this causes the idle to go up. I just read it and haven't tried it, but you could run a switch from fuse box to pin 10 and try it.

Another idea is to get a cruise control setup and use that to kick up the idle, haven't tried it but I've heard it can work.

I tried to find the article again and best I can figure is that they are talking about the ECA. the ECA is left side under dash behind kick panel.

I'd get a test light and put it on #10 or use a pin to stick into #10 spot and turn ac on and off and see what it does.

When I have more time, I'll try and find more info on this.
