Lightbulb 59 F250 4x4

EBay has a 59 F250 with a factory 4X4 listed (Item number: 4573668688) - I have a yard full of trucks or I would bid on it.

My question is that the seller lists it as having a Dana 44 in front, and a 60 in the rear. He states that this is the same set up Ford used up to the early 70s.

Is this true? Could you swap in the axles from a 67-72 4wd into a 59?

Yes, it would have a 44 closed knuckle up front, and a 60 in the rear, 4:56 ratio.
