Gear change
With the rising gas prices I would like know what size rear end gear I should invest in. I do mostly city driving and I'm rarely on the highway and when I am I only do 60-65mph. I have a 1997 f-150 shortbed 4.2L w/auto tranny.

What gear do you have now?
You have an OD trans, right?
What RPM/MPH are you running now at 65?
Will you be able to pull a taller gear without the tranny hunting?
How many miles do you drive? The economics of this are not good for low to medium mileage drivers.
How many miles/how long to keep the truck?
