Hello,

I recently purchased a 3rd brake light for my 2003 F150 supercab. It is the same brake light as the Lighting truck. It said simple to install and no modifications needed but when I pulled the old light out I couldn't find the end with the connector. Is it located inside the truck somewhere? Does someone have a wiring diagram for this? I had to put the factory one back in since I couldn't disconnect it. Thanks for the help.

What you have to do is drop the rear end of your headliner within the cab. It's a plug that runs from the unit out to a connector and should be located on the passenger side almost immediately above where the rear passenger would be seated.

 

I am having the same problem with mine right now. Were you able to do it easily at all? Could you possibly tell me how you accomplished it? Thanks!
