A Fan?

Of Penguin Point?

I used to love going to Penguin Point. A few years ago I drove to Goshen to look at the Royal Enfield motorcycles.

The bikes were really cool, but I was a little on the cash-strapped side of things (still am for that matter).

On the way back I ate at Penguin Point, I think in Rochester. Oh yeah. Part of my very fond memories of Indiana.

yep. Pigeon Point's tenderloin's are the best. Sometimes I get sick of the food here at our lunchroom at work and there's one just a block down I go to. My wife worked at one in Warsaw, the home of PP, and worked at one in Elkhart when it was new.

Only problem with the Goshen/Elkhart's PP's are that the district manager is a butthead.

Never heard of them. They don't have them down around here.

There are 14 locations, now.

Here's the list for those that have never been...
ANDERSON
AUBURN
ELKHART (3)
FORT WAYNE
GOSHEN
MARION
PLYMOUTH
SYRACUSE
WABASH
WARSAW (3)

When I was a kid we had a couple locations in Huntington.

And either the location in Rochester shut down, or the one I stopped at a few years ago was in Plymouth. I can't be sure. The purpose for making the trip was to check out the motorcycles, so I'm really not sure which route I drove.

I didn't realize there were quite that many. I thought they only had Warsaw, Goshen, and Elkhart. I had thought the Ft. Wayne one was closed but it's been many years since I lived there.

I believe there was one in Huntington as late as 2002, but they closed up and the building was torn down. It was close to the high school. I'm not sure where the Ft. Wayne location is.

It used to be out just East of Wayndale but they've changed a bunch of roads out there since I've lived there 19 years ago.
