Thumbs down engine codes because of wastegate actuator diconnect?

While the truck is getting a new tranny installed, the tech gave me the following codes
1249---wastegate control valve performance
p1247 -turbo boost pressure low

What is going on? I pulled that line like everyone says to keep that wastegate actuator closed longer and why am i having this problem???? anyone with suggestions?

If the line is not pluged you can get the1249. The 1247 is no, or low boost reading at the map sensor. Bad sensor or a leak in the line.

Was the tranny slipping real bad before it blew up? A bunch of revs and no go might have tricked the computer into thinking the boost was low.

OK I may have jumped to a conclusion too early, I never reset the codes after the wastegate actuator arm came off...so after he pluggs her all back in he will reset her and let me know...Also I fixed a broken manifold bolt a while back an the exhaust tick went away for a while and now I have a leak back...hmm cant find this one easy enouph.

You need to check all you boost tubes and intercooler. The computer is seeing no boost. If nothing is found remove the intake tube and check the turbo.

Welcome to Ford Truck Enthusiasts!!

The 1247 is low boost and the 1248 is no boost detected.

I'd go back to post #2 in this thread by mech2161. Sounds like a failed MAP (maniold absolute pressure) sensor.

And check the front of the passenger exhaust manifold, there is a fitting there that I left out and had the same probs. Its the manifold pressure sensor I think, anyway its a big hole letting all the exhaust out.
