The front had to be realigned- there's no way around it. The camber and caster are a little out of spec, but I know for a fact that in a month once things settle that I will get it dialed in no problem. If ya do it, just go ahead and get the 2 3/4* alignment shims, there's no way around it, and the alignment shop will charge you like 2x the price if you go through them.

I used that new Meguiars NXT Tech Wax. IT is AMAZING stuff. I used to use Xymol and Meguiars gold class, but the Meguiars is my favorite. I thought it was a marketing gimick, but it is good stuff.

Far as the top, it will only go on during extended camping and hunting trips. I am sure the extra weight helps get some more traction over the rear in the winter, but I will take my chances. Shells are nice, but they sure make getting stuff in and out a pain.

Yea, Meguiars is good stuff. I use it to wash the truck.
