I used that new Meguiars NXT Tech Wax. IT is AMAZING stuff. I used to use Xymol and Meguiars gold class, but the Meguiars is my favorite. I thought it was a marketing gimick, but it is good stuff.
Far as the top, it will only go on during extended camping and hunting trips. I am sure the extra weight helps get some more traction over the rear in the winter, but I will take my chances. Shells are nice, but they sure make getting stuff in and out a pain.
