I have a V6 '02 Mountaineer and just had an oil change. I tried resetting the "Change Oil" light on the dash by following the instruction but it still comes on the next time I restart the car. Any solution on how to clear this message?

 

I would think you could disconnect the battery wait a little while and reconnect. That should reset everything.

 

If you have the information center, which is the 3 buttons to the right of the steering wheel. You push the info button until the reset oil change comes up on the dash then hold the reset down until it goes back to the odometer. Hope this helps, Greg

 

Sorry its not the "info" button it is the "setup" button. I just reset mine yesterday you would think I could remember that long! Maybe it's just to early in the morning.
