That was a 2wd.....Ever since I was a lil kid, kinda like now....I'd wanted a 4x4 shortbox ford. A 2wd was the start of it when I came across a good deal on a decent truck.
Thanks for the comments guys. I'll get some more pics of all the details here in the next few days when it gets new paint, bumpers, interior, etc. So be ready!
Who thinks I need to trim more of the front fender? I think I do....
Passenger side view....Just for reference the very rear portion of my frame is 33.5" off the ground, the bottom of the cab is 27.5" to the ground (this is sitting on cement in my shop). The front differential has 13" of clearance, haven't measured the rear yet.
Front View: Yes I know I need to add a crossmember between the drop hangers yet.

I think you're going to need to modify the rear to keep the rear matched with the front. In the pics at least to me, looks like when you add a bed and all the stuff that goes with it onto the struck, you're gonna have a rear that is just barely even if not maybe a half inch or so lower then the front. Or maybe its just the pictures?
The back is actually sitting a few inches higher than the front right now. I figured once I added the bed, and bumpers front an rear I'd see what had to be done, but I think its just the angle of the pictures.
I'm testin it on the forklift tomorrow, as I have no driveshafts yet. Also settin my box on it for the first time in a year n half to check out the clearance in those fenderwells also. I"m not scared to hack 'em out
Kubota, that was exactly what I was thinking of doing tomorrow. How it is cut now just doesn't look right to me. And you were right, I should gone bigger than 36s they aren't that big
Thomsen hows the school thing coming along for ya? Weather isn't cooperating the last 2 days for painting. It'll get paint on it by this weekend then I'll pretty much have the thing done. So it might be ready soon for a trip southwest
