Thinking About Adding Seat Belts
I used the bolts that held down for my seat for belt installation; sort of. I replaced all the hardware with Grade 8, and I used a piece of angle iron with two inch legs. One leg goes between the seat and the cab floor; the other one extends vertically behind the seat across the back of the cab. That vertical leg has the holes to anchor your belt. If you'd like a photo, I can take one and post it in my gallery.
Grumpy Gramps.... I am not going to die from not wearing a seat belt in my truck. More likely than not it'll be from blowing a deco stop at 160ft while diving (a sheltered life?)

If the Seat Rips loose, so much for any kind of restraint, @ least w/ seperate attachement points both you & the seat wont exit the Truck @ the Same time.
And as a Volunteer 1st Responder Medic I've seen & treated some of the same things you've described B.D. & it's as unpleasent as you've stated.
