Someone Almost got away with my Lightning
I found my 2000 Lightning in my neighbors yard. Someone rolled it out of my driveway and tried to take it. They were unable to start it. I’m soo lucky! I"m going to install an alarm system with a pager.

Yes you're lucky!!! Was there any damage?

Makes me wonder how he/she/they were able to move without the key since it has to be in it to move the shifter out of Park. Hmmmm.

1,200 in damage. The insurance guy said F150 - F350 were not hard to steal

The F150 is one of the if not the most stolen truck on the market today. Get an alarm for sure, it won't always stop a thief, but it will make them think twice about trying take it.

my friend does alarms and he said that the f-150 is the easiest of the newer trucks to steal... along side the toyota cars they are the most popular too

Its one of most stolen vehicles of all time.

People sure love out Ford trucks.

Have you considered a lojack system? When reported stolen the system starts emmiting a signal that the police and trace. They claim to have a 90% recovery rate.

the lojack also helps out on your insurance, itll lower the rates so you pay less, which is good.

The F-150 is the 3rd most stolen vehicle just at my college...

Most of the reason why is because many parts interchange with other years, and there are so many of them out there...
