You guys are the best. I still have what is left of Greystreak. She has been donating salvagable components to the new Bronco, my brother's 95 F-150 and a few other friends who drive Ford fullsize trucks. They DID catch the culprit about a week later (August of '03). The 4" suspension lift, engine long block, transmission, and remainder of the drivetrain are all salvagable with the axles and lift kit being swapped under the new Bronco. The front two tires were salvagable but the other three had holes burned through them. All five Mickey Thompson 15x10 Challengers are sitting awaiting new meat as soon as I can swing it. Every body panel on the truck is heat warped. Thanks for the concern guys. I'm over it. Its been two years and I rest comfortably knowing the stupid little "spark" will be in a state psychiatric ward for the rest of his life.

I know this is getting into your business, but why did the stupid little "spark" do it?
You don't have to anwser if you don't want, but I was just curious and missed your old post about it.

The fact of the matter is the St Louis PD had been trying to catch the creep for about three months. He had gradually escalated from dumpsters, to garages, to cars. He got my truck and two other cars in my block in three nights. The third night, one of my neighbors got a good look at him. He "made" the guy the next day walking down another street with a duffle bag full of CD's and other little stuff he had been stealing from the cars he was torching. My neighbor ran him down on foot and called the cops. My neighbor said the guy "wasn't right" when he caught him. Whether it was substance induced or the guy just had psych problems he wasn't sure. The police arrived and thanked my neighbor because they hadn't been able to track the little $%^&* down.

When I put my 8' Meyer's plow on the front, with the extra lights glowing, and my boys sitting in the passenger seat, plowing 1' or more of snow, people ALWAYS stop and look.

they sound sweet as hell with a nice exhaust system!!!

i do agree with others about adding accessories, (2 sets of fogs, many rebel flags hence the name Dixie Bronco, not many more accessories but they will come)

totally love the body style
and many more i cant think of at this moment

The reason I love my bronco is because I've been through Alot with it either being running from certain cars that can't backtrack and keeping me from being locked up through woods or racing chevys and other crap or just rebuilding the engine the tailgate parties that would rock and the best feature of the truck the rclining seat for those "special moments" I've said it so many times in my when I fix it I'm getting rid of it but I just can't see throwing away so many good memories with an all american beast

I agree, i was walking down my street one day last winter and saw a bronco rip past (going uphill doing about 90 with 38's on) and then ripped into a drive way and started plowing, and it sounded like a beast, i love the bronco, has been a favourite of mine ever sense i was little, i like the feel of it, they are comfortable and can really haul when you want them to, i have a pal who recently put a straight pipe on his and all i can say is " nice"

Well, at least the "spark" was caught. I just hope that Ford will one day decide to bring back our beloved bronco.

The idea of ford bringing back the bronco sounds cool but it would most likely be a joke like many vehicles made now. Good luck with your plastic bumpers and all wheel drive...electric 4x4 systems and wussy frames, etc.

Thats very true, i was sort of hoping that ford would look at the fame of the rubicon and follow suite with its own dedicated trail rig. Its got most of everybody's fav aftermarket mods already installed. I love that. I just wish ford built it.

I agree with Rguy7 if they kept the body styles of the 90's bronco it would be awsome but the pictures in that link I sent I mean it looks pretty nice but the whole thing is size it looks like the size of a bronco 2 and maybe if they just changed the front end it would probally make ford millions
