Wish I could say the same. My wife would wander off with mine all the time (chicks dig 'em)! So we bought her her own "pony" and now the Bronco stays with me MOST of the time.

Well, yes, she turns on a dime and I live in the city which = easy to parallel park.

I've been plowed in deep on a one way street on the right side of the road...and beasted out of the pile in no time.

She carried 11 kegs one time.

Driving over big things is just fun.

I've slept in her many a time.

Roll under/over-ability.

Cheaper than any UK SUV for the same size (if not greater capacity).
Rarer than rocking horse **** in the UK.
Fantastic turning circle (comparable to a London Taxi!)
Tough as old boots.

Just love it.. but I do miss my Land Rover.

I say, there is nothing more fun than pulling up at a Ford Dealership with a friend who is looking to buy a new truck and have the sales and service managers both outside looking at the Bronco repeatedly asking if I wanted to trade it or sell it. I recently took mine in to get the first part of the cruise control recall work done and almost every service tech was coming by and lookin' at it!!!

I love the damn thing and ain't gonna get ride of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has taken me to places where no ordinary vehicle would dare go.

It has gotten me into* and out of trouble....

They are fun to drive

They are equally fun to work on when adding accessories or modifications

You can sleep comfortably in them (or other sleeplike activities)

You can haul your gear without worrying about it getting stolen

It is just a versitile truck and the original SUT.

*Note: in reference to girls, many girls. hehehe

I would say that you all have made some very good points. For all intents and purposes i would say that when it comes down to pure utility, passenger capacity, towing capacity, fuel mileage, dependability and pure off road capability no other vehicle comes close. And when you look at other 4wheel drive vehicles on the market with similar capabilities, bronco's are the cheapest. No other manufacturer can claim to have built such a stead fast piece of Americana.

i like the fact that even without a lift, it still towers over most other vehicles.
my girlfriend(s) love to drive it
got more torque than 3 hondas put together
and like everyone else says...the top comes off and you can haul all kinds of junk in it

Lexus SUV = $50,000
Ford Bronco XL w/340+hp = $12,000
Spanking Lexus bootie = PRICELESS

The King of Whitewater shuttle beasts (Can haul 3 canoes, 5 Kayaks AND 7 adults + gear)
Turns on a dime (2nd vote)

If you want to see "beat up" check my gallery "Trial by fire" it will make you feel much better about your own! You can see the one I'm talking about in that photo parked behind the "pretty" one.

I would want to catch the guys who did that and do a few select things to them and then give what's left to the police.
Sorry to hear about that.

HOLY CRAP!! I remember when you posted that it had happened, but damn! Although, it does look like you are going to be able to salvage a few parts. What about the tires and wheels? They look like they are still good enough to transplant. Or did alot of melting parts ruin those?

Man I didn't see the pictures before today. Find em and string em up. I'll bring the red hot poker.
