Exclamation cold starting

My F250 5.4 doesnt like to stay running when it is cold. It turns over fine, starts fine then dies. it gives symptoms like a choke not working on a carb. If I give it a little gas and hold the idle myself it will stay running and sometimes ramp up by itself, and then it stays running.

Change the IAC (Idle air control valve). The most common idle problem with triton v8's and v10's. Its the silver canister thing on the back of the throttle body.
Happy Turkey Day
