Always 11 mpg

My 95 f150 always gets 11 mpg. I'm the 3rd owner of this truck, last owner was from Idaho (I'm in MT). Truck runs like a champ, never any problems. No matter how I drive it always gets 11 mpg. Is there a way of improving this? In town I've takin' it easy and hard driving. I have a 3 Stage Diablo chip that I only use on highway on the 87 Oct. stage (91 Oct. is to expensive now), still I get 11 mpg, which might be pretty good w/chip? Truck is stock exept for a FM 40 series muffler. How can my mpg get any better?

with 87 octane you are limiting your possiblites because with 87 you have to retard spark to prevent knock because your 9 to 1 CR is to high for 87 without timing tricks. Everytime you retard spark it hurts MPG. Try better fuel and advanced timing as you may find that the MPG gain will more than pay for the fuel cost at todays prices Myself, I do not use 87 ever in any of my newer vehicles.
