econoline tailgate repair info

hi just signed up, a freind tells me he that there was an article in the not to distant past about restoring econoline tailgates. my 61 needs the sheet metal replaced on the bottom of the tailgate. anyone remember, or could let me know where the thread is it would be greatly appreciated
