Lincoln welder question
I need some help from some of you welders out there. I have a Lincoln SP-170T mig welder that I'm looking to sell. I got it in trade for a side job I did and I was intending on learning how to do some basic welding. I lost interest in learning how to weld and I don't have any room or need to keep the welder. What would be a fair price to ask for it? It's in really good shape, has a cart and comes with an Argon/CO2 tank and a welding hood. I could really use the cash more than the welder, but I wasn't exactly sure what to ask for it. Do any of you guys have any advice or suggestions?

What kind of condition is it in? I'm not into lincolns that much, i'm more of a miller guy, but a brand new lincoln 175 goes for 600 to 700. I'd say depending if condition it's in good shape...anywhere from 250 to 400. But that's a spitball estimate. I'd really have to see it to put a price on it.

The home depot specials don't usually come with gas, and aren't set up for mig, just flux core wire. The mig tank and everything you'ed need for the mig conversion will bring the cost closer to 600 or 700 depending on where you get it. That's if you get the 175, which is the closest to the 170t you can get i believe right now. So like i said earlier, depending on condition, 250 to 400.
