On my 89 Bronco 2 i had the timing light on it, and im not sure where its suppose to be. there is a circle looking piece on the timing cover thing and also a pointer looking piece of metal. Which one should the white line be closer to?
Ill give that a try, The truck is running okay but the gas mileage sucks. i replaced the intake gasket and forgot to mark the distributor when i pulled it out. So its been hit and miss with timing.
pulled electrical plug set timing, with plus in she idles around 850 rpms thats good. Once the electrical plug is back in the timing mark isnt near the timing needle, thats normal right?
After you time it reinsert the spout conector, the computer will take over it will look different than the original setting that is ok .if you want to recheck pull the spout again and see if was where you had set it.Tourque your distributer and you are good to go.
