Anyone in FBKS want to trade tires?

I bought my truck used in Oct of last year and it had on it 315/75R/16 (35") Cooper Discovery tires. I only have 3:73.1 gears and I pull a large 5th wheel. Would anyone be interested in trading for their stock tires. Preferebbly 265 or 285. The coopers are in really good shape. I don't know how many miles are on them but it can't be that many, the truck only has 26,000 on it and I know the coopers are not factory. I need to get my gearing back. I can't afford 4:30 gears yet but maybe in a year or two. If anybody is interested please let me know.

I run 315's on both my 96' and my 00'. I have coopers on the 96 and BFG's on the 00'. I would be interested in your tires but I don't have a stock set to trade you. Would you be interested in selling them? You could take the money and put it toward a new set of smaller ones. I don't need tires right now but I will when mine wear out. I always hate to pass up a good deal..

Sure come on by and check them out and make me an offer. I'm home by 6 pm every night.

What new tires do you have in mind? Find out what the new ones cost and then decide what you want for yours. I hate making offers, I am always afraid I will offend someone. Just decide what you want for them and maybe we can get together Saturday.

Looks like the new coopers that I need are going to be about $650.00 for four of them. I priced 315/75r/16 discoveries that I have now and they list for $175.00ea at American tire and $199.00ea at Arctic Tire. I think I would be happy with $75.00 ea. That's less than half the cost of new and I think you would be getting a good deal.

I have a set of Firestones that I took off my Excursion a few years ago. They are the OEM tires and I took them off in the fall to install studs and got rid of the truck that winter, so still have the stock Firestones. Not sure of the size...whatever came stock on the Excursions, I believe 265/75/16's?? They're not new, but are still in decent shape.

Anyway, if you're interested...you can come get 'em.

I'm very interested.

After closer inspection of my current tires there is only about 30% tread left so you probably wouldn't want them, but if you would like to sell the fierestones I am definately interested.

I've still got the Firestones, if anyone's still interested. If not I'll throw them in the paper.
