its kind of loud in the cab so i can just imagine what it sounds like on the outside drives great to. needs slicks
for the strip u have to launch kind of easy 2000 rpm then ease in to it before u put it to the mat or it will spin. not a lot of pickup till 4000rpm then it will fly should have 1/4mi times next friday made one pass then it rained i ran a 16.10 and yes it will do better it was not a race it was test and tune night i just wanted to put on a little show for my son hes 23 with the smoke an all.

73mach1, I am also curious about your average MPG with the supercharger. Did it drop significantly? I am looking to install one on my everyday driver. Thanks for the information.

hmmm....
Was thier any reasoning behind that statement?
I am struggling to find a reason why an intercooler would make it more "reliable".
More powerful (denser air charge), more driveable, more efficient - all yes's

Reliability is something that is quite often thrown around with the word intercooler, and the level of performance may be more reliable (more stable intake temperature), but I don't think it really increases vehicle reliability at all. Am welcome to accept any reasonable statements with the opposite point of view though.

The denser air alone does not add much. It does allow for more advanced timing though. Without the intercooler, you have to keep the timing retarded way below the best setting for max power. Trying to run a little too advanced on the timing at boost, can be very expensive. For my Lightning, I can get great aftermarket intercoolers, that work better then stock at cooling bla, bla bla. Install one, and the boost psi will actually drop some, since the new intercooler flows air better (as well as cools better).
Then you can up the boost more safely, give it a more agressive tune and run some impressive power numbers, all while being reliable.

thats the problem with the roush no timing advance till 4000rpm then it jumps to about 23*
