Hello

Hey there, i saw that there was a local chapter here in oklahoma and i thought i'd pretty cool to be able to talk to and possible check out some of y'alls rides. I'm only 17 and picked up a '73 F-100 long bed for 1200 from an old man down the road and it's in pretty good shape being almost all original. Pics of it are in my gallery, i took the bed cap off though. I just thought i might holler at y'all in here and see if can get a reply or something because i thought i'd be cool to talk to other people that have the same type of trucks alright well thanks

Welcome to the Chapter, and welcome to the site.

We have members spread out all over the state, but the main concentration of us are here in Tulsa, and down in Oklahoma City... so post your location and keep an eye on the boards here for a meet near you. Please feel free to be active on our board too...

Welcome to the site, green73. It's nice to know I am not the youngest (I'm 18). That's a good looking truck, what plans do you have for it?

Welcome man, there seems to be some young 'uns around here. I'm 18, and A_G is a young one too. What part of OK are you in?

Wow wasn't expecting so many replies so fast. I'm pretty close to OKC where i live it's 20 minutes to anywhere. If saw one of you said something about wanting a camper top i'm trying to sell it i don't like them it's a long bed one so if intrested just shoot me a message and nothing really planned for the truck it's Out of service until saturday. Exhaust manifold gasket was bad so when we took off the manifold the top 4 bolts broke so we are just going to regasket and clean up the top half of the motor. But ya thanks for the reply's i'll keep in touch and maybe see if i can make it to a meeting if ones close

hey there green73, I think I've seen that truck here locally...is it the one that was for sale on I-35 about a month or two back? looks just like it. really nice truck!! I was wanting to buy it. anyway, I'm here in moore, so if you wanna get together sometime...cool. check our "next okc meet" thread, we plan on a BBQ in august, so you are more than welcome to show up. a little warning though that is a really long thread, so I'd suggest starting from the last page and going from there...it's an ongoing topic.

any how, WELCOME!!! glad to have you.

-Ken Reed, local area event coordinator. (I try anyway )

Hey there, ya the truck was for sale off of I-35 for a little while. The old man who owned lives down the road for me and now he's got a mid 80's model for sale. It is a pretty clean truck, little bit of cancer spot and it had a extensive surgery to the top end of the motor today so it shoudl run even better than it did when i bought and it was a beast then. Well thanks for the replies on this stuff. This is one of the most helpful forums i've ever been on and i've been on plenty with having 6 differnt cars up to this date but lucky to say they were all sold just like i bought them and i never wrecked a one
