I'm about to unload my second 04 Screw lariat, and will more than likely pick up another F150. My past two 04's both had the brake Shudder issue, and was curious if the issue was isolated to the 04's or if any 05 owners have this issue. IE: does the 05's have the same brakes as the 04's? Should I wait till the 06's come out in end of Sept, will they have a newer brake system?

I really like the truck, aside from this issue.

 

The shudder issue was due to rotor warpage. Known problem, and was remedied by new rotors. A TSB is out.
It amazes me dealers don't know about these fixes!
