Interco TRXus MT vs. Firestone Destination M/T
OK, Im still looking for the best all around MT tire and have started narrowing down the contenders. Does anyone have any experience with both of these tires? I am looking for decent off-road traction with a tire that is not incredibly noisy and that will last at least 40K. I know those kind of stats are rare in an MT, but from what I have read these two could possibly do it. Also, I'm not interested in BFG MT, so please dont waste your time trying to convince me to get them. Thanks a lot for your help guys. See signature for truck details.

I may be biased, but I've used interco for a while (currently 37" SSR's) and I would go for the TRXus. They have great resistance to side skid on inclines and are much more quiet than my SSR's on black top, and the SSR's are already very quiet for their category and design. In fact they are more than decent for MT's with an all-around use design. They will clog with mud more than most other Interco tires, specially if you go into that red or yellow gumbo stuff, but a quick spin leaves them new. They also bite wet rocks great for MT's if you air them down. I never had a chance to slash one either, so the side walls seem tough. The only skids I had on wet black top were when I really pushed it, and my f-350 crew, long bed with a 460 is not actually easy to stop on wet pavement once you get it going.
