So much has gone on lately just within the confines of the interior that I thought the truck deserved a separate gallery. The lizard skin inspired me to update some of my photos. The next thing is the wiring and then the seats and cab interior.
Wow! A very impressive truck. Great progress. That is only the second time I've seen the second hump added. It reminds me of a corvette interior. Looks really good!
I'm going to try the Lizard Skin also. Looks great. Should work well too.
Very impressive, I like the ''dare to be different'' approach. Looks you ahead of schedule, I don't think I've ever seen that before. Would very much like to see this bad boy rollin'
Thanks guys. I am slightly ahead of schedule considering the hold-ups from some local pro's and the heat of late not to mention the lung thing. I finally drove it this morning to see how it steered and stopped. All I needed was the steering wheel. It ran wonderful and has the mustang roar. I went to the glass shop to pick up my rear glass and then to maching shop to check up on the 2 hump insert and some other items under development for 53-56 effies that I will put on this truck first. The truck rides like a Lincoln or Merc so all is good. On to next step. Will keep posted.
The hump on the passenger side is Good (and that is from someone from the lightside). It reminds me of the '55 Chevy (car) I used to have. They had a matching hump on the passenger side which held the speaker and a round clock.
Show us some pics from the outside looking through the windshield.
FF56: you can buy the rumble if you can find the right exhaust guy and then agree to pay him extra for sweetening up the bends. The tunes is 2.5 ceramic pipes, 2 chamber Maxflow, Ceramic in/out Sandersons, alll done at my home in 1 day.
Abe: look in "Body Work" in gallery, I put in tonite.
4spd. I wish, I can't fab like that . That is a 4 year project that I shot at car show last year. No sir, mine is just a new Pro's Pick with smoothie gate and hidden hinge/latch and stock metal fenders. Remember the green paint you made for me? I painet the 56 in the color but it looked bad, so we washed it off and went with plan B. Care to " repaint" in 2002 Mustang yellow to be used as Avitar?? EM me for payment. Thanks again.
Mike, I think your truck is fine and have been following your progress. Nice!! Wish I had more fab skills.
