Well here we go;

ABS System:

26 = Rear Axle Inlet Solenoid

P0155 = Heater Ckt Fault B2S1

P0304 = #4 Misfire
P0308 = #8 Misfire
P0171 = Too Lean B1 (Bank 1)
P1000 = OBDII Drive Cycle not complete

Long Term Fuel Trim was: 18.0 B1, -9.0 B2. After I cleared codes, B1 was 33.0, and B2 was -17.0. The oxygen sensor codes came back instantly. Misfire codes were because truck sat all winter and summer and I had a hell of a time getting it started. I replaced the drivers side o2 sensor and also the one after the cat last year. I did not however replace the one on the pass side because it looks too difficult. Codes came back instantly after I changed them and wires look great. At that time I did not care to dig deeper into it. Do I need to just bag the idea and just replace them all again except get ones from the dealer instead of the "Standard" brand from my parts store?

Also what part am I looking for the ABS, is it on the rear axle or somewhere else? Any idea on what to tackle first?

Also please explain the B1S1 lingo to me, I only have 3 o2 sensors, so what does B1S1, B1S2, B2S1, B2S2 mean? Which bank, drivers or passengers is B1?

Hi FordDiesel. The 'B1S1' stuff refers to the bank and sensor info. (B1 is bank 1, and S1 is sensor 1). Bank 1 is the bank of cylinders on the passenger side, and is always the bank with the number 1 cylinder. S1 will always be the sensor that's first in line after the exhaust manifold, and S2 will be the downstream sensor, usually after the catalytic converter. If you only have 3 sensors, then B1S2 and B2S2 can refer to the same sensor, since it monitors both banks.

Since you have more than one sensor heater circuit fault, look for a blown fuse for the heater circuit. If the fuse is blown, then look for a frayed sensor wire that is grounding to the exhaust system.

Look on the rear diff housing for a speed sensor with a wire harness going toward the front. The sensor might be part of the ABS problem.

After replacing the O2 heater circuit fuse (assuming it's blown), clear the codes and see which of them comes back. Don't forget to check the wiring, because a wiring short is usually the cause of a blown fuse.

Where is this fuse? I don;t see it in the fuse block.

 

Don't know in a late model Bronco.....? My Explorer has it located in a fuse box under the hood.

 

OK, I looked real good and don't see any chaffing or any fuses. Any idea? I pulled every single fuse and they are all good.

How's it running overall? How old are the sparkplugs (mileage wise...)? Might be time for a new set. The other codes are related to the O2 sensors, if they've got more than 60,000 miles on 'em change 'em out with some new ones, its about $200 if you do them yourself for all three. But it's usually the front two sensors that crap out. Use Autolite Platinum sparkplugs in your Bronco. That oughta work off a few of those codes.

Well, I will be checking it out today. That MAC Mentor scan tool has a built in database that lists my exact symptoms, and says I have bad drivers in the PCM. I will however do the wiring checks first.
