I can't either. There is something wrong with this discussion board that causes it to insert the ... in the link. Copy and paste the link into your browser. Then delete the ... It's on the eBay Motors discussion board. A poster wants to know which one is better...a Ford F150 is or a Dodge 1500.

Depends on if you are trying to "compensate for someting". If so, buy the Dodge... otherwise buy the real truck

Go look at both of them. I'm sure you'll buy the Ford.

Better for what?
Knowing why you want/need a truck in the first place would help answer.
What are you going to be doing with it? How long are you planning on keeping it? ETC.
Like alanmaier said, it's going to end up being a personal decision based on what you like, the deal, etc.

In my opinion, DODGE is the better of the two evils. I have a 02 Dodge 1500 Quad Cab with the 360 engine in it. Smooth ride! Always a please to drive... It will run out of Bumper to Bumper warranty next week. Just 36k miles in it. Have done nothing to it but change the oil, filter, lube and rotated the tires. Fords are OK too, but I feel like Dodge has the better resale.

Ford F150 pickups have been the best selling trucks 28 yrs. in a row.
Does that tell you anything?

That is just because of the huge fleet business that FORD does. Any car company can sell a bunch of trucks if the price is cheap enough. I am not here to bad mouth Fords. I drive an F-350, my wife drives the Dodge and my Son drives an 05 GMC Sierra. Just personally, I like the Dodge better.

The purpose of this forum is to make intelligent comparisons of other makes against ford. They don't have to be in favor of Ford but they must be reasonable in any matter or direction.
