Something that old will most likely not be on a dealer lot. Do your homework on the quirks of the F150/250's that you are considering and start with the Auto Trader/Recycler. Look for things wrong with the truck that you personally can not fix and negotiate from there.

I've noticed, at least around here, that even the dealers who list inventory on their webpage, don't list old stuff (say, pre-1990, or even 1995). You pretty much just got to go look for it.

Even if they did have something that old, they'd be wanting a pretty penny for it. Might also hit up the auto auction if you can find a way to go. I've seen some very nice stuff go through there for super cheap.

Thanks for the info guys.
I found a nice truck at a nearby dealership, saw it from the road, looked to be a pre 1997 f150 or a f250 silver main color with a burgandy bottom coat, like the f150 in my gallery, silver where the green is and burgandy where the silver is. it was a single cab with a long bed, it said 2250 on the windshield.
