Exclamation 1983 302; turbo or supercharger

Do they make turbo or superchargers for '83 302 engine? I have been looking and all I can find is 66-71 and 86-up. If you know of any or of any modifications I could try to fit one for a different year on then that would be very helpful.
Thanks

An SC or turbo can be used on ANY year 302. Just not a STOCK 302. Forced induction requires that mods be made to an engine. Cast pistons won't live very long under boost. A special camshaft, as well as adjusted clearances inside the engine would be other mods needed for optimum power gains. Plenty of info on the net.

Theres more than a few guys running turbos on STOCK 5.0s, some making 400+hp.
Most of these are with a stock 5.0 GT block. These come stock with forged pistons. 400 hp isn't much to brag about. I can get that with a change of heads, rocker arms, and headers on a stock GT 5.0 engine. To really take advantage of boost, a stock engine just won't do. There are turbo 302 engines putting out WELL over 1000 horsepower, though not with a stock block (for long).

I mean stock 5.0 with stock TB, stock intake, and stock heads.
Lots of boost on a stock 5.0 is not the best way to make power but, it can and has been done.

And heres a nice little 1177hp at 5800rpm carbed 302 that drove home from the dyno.

Not all of them, and besides the blocks come apart if you hang around 500rw for too long.

If I say it it's true. http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles/116_0307_ford/
And yes, all 5.0 GT engines do have forged pistons.

I read that article and noticed something.....a set of 1.7RR's will help to increase the lift, but how in the world will they increase duration if the profile of the cam is not altered?

What makes you think that the duration needs to be increased to make those numbers? The extra lift caused by the increased rocker ratio opens the valves further, thus allowing more air to pass in and out of the cylinders.

Only to 92 then in 93 they changed to hypereutectic pistons.

I've also seen those power numbers on the dyno. AFR heads kick butt.
