door open switch out help
Ok, I real sure that it is the rear doors.
I've got the steps that go up and down when the door is open. The front steps are wired into the vehicle switch and the rear doors have a seperate switch. The light stays on and the open door dash light stays on but all the steps are up.
I've tried the WD40 trick and it didn't work. I've got the door panels off and did more WD40 and nothing.
What do I have to do to get the switch out of the door? I don't even know what this switch looks like. Is it built into the door latch or just works with it. In other words do I have to take the latch out to get the switch out?
