I voted for the funnest, most expensive one. The only drawback is having to screw up a perfectly good Ford 4x4 just to save a Lumina body.
Don't worry If I do this I will get a donor with a body that is shot or with a body that would have good parts for my 82 f350.. I am sorta leaning toward doing this because it would be the only thing like it on the road, and it would have a more reliable drivetrain. I also think it would be kind of cool. I realize it would be a huge magnitude of work, but I am up for it.
Get some blaze orange spray paint, and make a giant bullseye template. Paint it on the side. Park it at a rifle range that says it's ok, and obtain a 50 caliber rifle that shoots BMG ammunition. Sit 500 yards away, leave the engine running, and let 'er rip!
Fix, and sell. It would suck to see a Ford drivetrain on a Chevy. It's like seeing a Ferrari drivetrain on a Civic... quality on a piece of junk. Get rid of that junk before it drives you into the poor house (where all the Chevrolet owners are).
