Problem with passenger power mirror
I have a 2000 Expedition. I recently went through a Shell gas station car wash...I know...stupid right?
Anyway, the passenger mirror stopped working properly right away. I'm still getting power to the mirror but it is performing very whacky (move master control (mc) left...the mirror moves up,.....move mc right and the mirror moves up). Regardless of how I move the mc, it will not tilt "in" to give me a proper view of the right rear bump.
I've tried manually move the mirror to see if I can kick-start it (so to speak). No luck, the mirror simply resets every time to the improper position with no ability to use the mc the move it into the proper position.
How can I troubleshhot this? Is this something I can take apart easily? And what am I looking for when trouble-shooting??
