I can't say enough good things about these trucks. Mine has been serving me beyond my expectaions for years now. I have been expecting this truck to break the drivetrain ever since I bought it 4 years ago. I use the truck as my utility/off road vehicle. I really don't maintain it as I should, but nonetheless it continues to handle everything I can throw at it. I have been a ford fan my whole life, but since I own one I can really see why there owners are so proud. I owned a Ch##y truck once, that thing lasted about a year. I'll never do that again.
Jake,
I couldn't agree more. I've had one for twenty years now. When ever I see one on the side of the road for sale, I stop and see if I can add another one to the collection. My friends think I'm nuts, but whenever they need a truck, they know who to call. The neighbors haven't said anything yet, guess I'm just lucky/blessed.

would have to agree, we had a ice storm a couple of days ago and a tree fell on my old 78 f100. i grabbed the chain saw and cut a clear path around the truck and cut the tree up. climbed in and as always the truck fired and i hauled 4 loads of tree limbs to the brush pile. now i have some extra fire wood and some cosmetic work to complete on the old girl.
