Timing belt or chain

Hey, does my 95 f150 300-6 manual have a timing chain or a timing belt?

Neither. Timing gears only.

Instead of either of the two (Belt or chain) the cam is driven by a gear. It's better than either chain or belt. People who have V8's sometimes upgrade to gear drive setups. And the 300 comes stock with them.
