Head swap for lighting

I would like to know if anyone has tried to take the 5.4 DOHC heads off a navigator and put them on a 99-04 svt lighting or if it can be done to try and get to the level of the 5.4 sc engine used in the ford gt or the upcoming 07 shelby gt 500 mustang.

I haven't got a clue. But I've been looking around myself. I'd love those 4V heads on my 250's 5.4. If you find out I'd love you know. Sorry I couldn't help

I think the heads can be mounted, but no one currently offers an intake that would allow you to put the blower back on.

Question

thanks guys for the info.
I wonder if the intake from a ford gt would work? I was told by a ford dealer that the ford gt's heads were basically navagator dohc heads that have been tuned up a little for the increased hp.

The Ford GT has a Whipple blower. I doubt the Eaton would bolt up.

thanks framerboy
I have already talked to shock therapy and he actually used a complete nav engine and had the bottom end completely redone to hold up to the extra hp.
I am not a fan of turbo's as they do generate a lot of hp, but they are extremely hard on the engine oil and being that they are down stream they have a good chance of being damaged by crap coming through the exhaust system.

thanks sigma
If I decide to do the convertion, I will just have to get the whipple blower to go with the intake.
