I live less than 5 miles away from Edgewater. They have good competition, anyone can race on test&tune on firday nights. Forget the fees though. Alot of people I know, that go there, say there's a lack of traction. It's not a Top Fuel track but it's the best in Cincinnati area. Lots of ricers. Tri-State Dragway, up the street, is a members only track.
Don't do business with the track owner or his sons. Plus, track management is lacking in intelligence. I don't go there anymore mainly because of those two reasons. So that means I haven't been there in years. From what I hear it hasn't changed either.
You can bring your own food and beverage but NO GLASS.
They have a concession stand, it's something to throw down your neck and that's it.
Watch out for the Sheriff's Department on East Miami River Road. They'll give you a free ticket and they give out alot every friday.
The track officials are good, it's a pretty safe place to race.
Don't let my personal opinions of Edgewater keep you from racing and having fun.
Hi aday101 and welcome to the chapter, we got great bunch of people here , kinda loose net of friends. I hope you'll stick around and maybe tell others what we have going on here.
Never been there myself either. Heard good and bad things. Maybe someday I'll run down and check it out. I'm a Dragway 42 guy(been there for about 8 yrs now).
