Don't worry about rattle. But just a note, it sounds like you are replacing your original rearend with a nine inch. Are you familiar with the angle requirements? I too have a nine inch under my 54 and it has a set of aluminum angle shims in place to make the angle of the pinion correct. There are many on this site that can help before you start having vibration problems. But if you have already taken steps to correct the angle, please disregard. Good luck, Jag
