Smile Convoy to the FTE National Rally

Guy's I'm sure that there are alot of people that will be going to the rally from many differant directions , it would be nice if we could hook up along the way.

I purpose that we tie a Blue ribbon on our antenna's so that we can know when we see another member and also in the event that someone is broke down we can also stop help each other out

If want too, post a link to a pic of your truck here that you will be driving and what route and time that you will be heading to the Rally.

you can also use PM's to contact other members to discuss the details of when and where to meet up.

And if you are riding alone , maybe someone might be willing to ride shot gun with you....just an idea.....

If any one has ideas to share please post up....

I would suggest a ribbon on the driver's mirror as well.

It would make it easier for people attempting to pass other trucks to see them sooner

People could also get an FTE window/bumper sticker before they leave home.

What about me Ray? You know what I'm driving. If I can afford to go; I don't want to be lynched for showing up in that.

Well, If I go, I imagine I'll be coming thru OK.....My truck will be going even if I have to drive it at 10mpg :-)

First, I have to get it running again....it's always something....

Be right there Ken. Just as soon as I put on those 46" ballon tires to paddlewheel my way over.

I will either do that or fly in to Kansas City and rent me something to get around in. Hopefully a Ford. Kinda depends on work right now.

you guys have to drive your pickups. I like the ribbon idea, definately. I'm only coming from about 30 miles away. Good luck, and Godspeed. (which means you'll need your ford truck).

now if anyone is willing to carpool with me (i'd be leaving from the coutts/sweetgrass border, about and hour and a half north of great falls montana) and wouldn't mind splitting the driving/gas costs in my 82 flareside i'd be game to come, i'd be sure to put the 2.80 gears back in her to make the trip a bit faster though .

Might I suggest a specific CB channel to communicate with those further up the road?
