Just a tid bit of information.
When I try and start my engine and it would keep trying to turn the starter over, but not enough to really turn it over.
I'd shut it off,but power would keep my ign box on and it wouldn't shut off.
It would then transfer power to my dash lights and brake light indicator on the dash.The alt also would not charge. I changed my solenoid and every thing was better,Although it would not always try to turn over the engine all of the other stuff would keep on happening.
So, if you have troubles like I've had,it could very well be the solenoid. just a thought to those in need.
