If it's any help, I've had 2 '05 Lariats as demos and had Zero issues with both of them. OK, I'm not exactly thrilled with the gas mileage, but that's pretty much the sum total of my personal complaints. The first one had a November '04 build, as I recall. The wierd thing is I read the vibration complaints, and wonder if we're talking about the same truck. Not only have mine had no problems, but that seems to be the rule around here.
Mrs. Bear took the Lariat shopping with sis-in-law this weekend (she drives a big Lexus), and they were both amazed at how nicely the thing drove. Sis thought the truck rode a little rougher than her Lexus (duh!), but was quieter, and she liked the seats better. Go figure. One of the FTE mods drove it Sunday at our GTG, and thought the same (he wasn't thrilled with the drive-by-wire system, but it's not like you can change that).

I've posted several times that it irks me how my '04 150 STX is QUIETER than my Lincoln Town Car. In the immortal words of Kevin Meany, "that's not right!"
