Cut or Gut the cat. Road results

So. the '96's previous owner gutted the cat. It reacted the same as a cut out cat, but I always thought it killed a lil sound. It had a nice deep tone, but not a whole lot of whistle. so today a buddy and I cut it out, (yep owner told the truth, it was hollow) and replaced with a chuck of 3.5" now I have a fairly wicked rap, and a sweet whistle. just like every other straigh piped PSD, execpt the truck has dual pipes.

So for any one who is one the fence, and you dont have inspections. these are my results. I like the no cat sound alot better then the gutted cat sound.

no noticeable perfromance, but I never expected any, just strictly a sound difference.
