Can't find knock sensor on the a 94 4.9

I can't find the knock sensor on this engine. Either that or NAPA sold me the wrong sensor because I can't find anything with the same connector on the block of the engine. Is the sensor on the header side or side case gasket side? Could someone help me out here please?

IIRC, it's on the manifold side, right below the head in the rear next to the bellhousing. With everything assembled, you'd look all day and never see it if you didn't know where to look. It does have a single wire connector, right?

the knock sensor is pretty large as far as sensors go, and I am pretty sure that it is located below/near the ignition coil.

I will post an image.

Oh, crap! I stand corrected. My engine is still on the stand, mostly disassembled, but still has all the sensors in place. Thought the one on the other side rear was the knock sensor. (too many GM's i guess. Theirs is on pass rear and has one wire) So what is the one I was thinking about? Temp sender for the guage maybe?

Yes the one you mentioned it's the engine block temperature sender for the temp gauge I have remplace it my self. And the one by the coil it's a capacitor, ( if you are taking about the one installed on a bracket next to the coil) I'm working on installing a megasquirt2 3.57 and I need to find that sensor
