leak detector
#3
Ranger 8en..You're looking for a leak detector. At least three types to consider....the dye check stuff everybody has at the retail shops to the trade supply houses. Yesterday I was using a 3/8 inch hose screwed to my ear while trying to find leak[ I did have 100 psi nitrogen in the system] But it was my D-TECK by inficon that found the trace leak at the usual place...compresser seal.....OH , and I did use the BIG BLUE liquid[ its for refrigeration, like using soap bubble stuff] The advantage off the expensive electronic leak detectors are the sensitivity; my will detect 0.10 oz. per YEAR size leaks... Some day I'm gonna try the dyes, as the equipment is getting real inexpensive,,and I always had a weak spot for glow in the black light colors
