If you have a autozone in your area they should be able to order you one. Or,you can go slightly newer.

'63 &4 223 (& 262s) used the autolite 1100 (or the simular 1101?) carb. They show up quite fequently on ebay. You could probably use one off of a 240 or 300 & it would work all right. Just make sure you get one of the early ones with the spark control valve.

I have an Autolite 1100 that I took off of my 65 shortly after rebuilding. It has the SCV and manual choke. Mine ran great other than the usual Autolite hot start thing. These carbs were trouble from the get go. Ford would not even attempt warranty repair. They simply replaced them with Holleys. Anyway mine is probably as good as any if anybody needs one. I went to the Carter YF which seems to be good so far.

Buyer beware!! The rebuilts you get from places like Advance Zone very likely have excessive throttle shaft end play. I have checked a bunch of carbs and there are a lot of bad ones. I am on my second Carter. I had the parts store order a replacement but the one they sent was worse than the one I have. I get a whistle at about half throttle. Other than that the carb does great so I will leave it alone for a while. Right before the 1 year warranty runs out I'll go ask for a replacement. Fortunately the process is a refund and a resale, which starts a new warranty. I'm not going to abuse the system but I will ask for replacements until they send one with an unworn throttle assembly. I paid for a remanufactured carburetor. That is what I should get.

The company is Champion by the way....and if anybody wants my Autolite 1100, PM me.
