Best way to clean windshield grim?

I've use "lemon sented ammonia" (you can smell it when you activate your washers) for years, works great.
Ad a 1/4 cup to your washer bottle, NO MORE! Depending on your washer motor, too much can expand the seals and seize it, I had this happen only once, with a BMW of all things.

Carlos, I hope you aren't using that ammonia on the inside of your windows, particularly if they're tinted. and I'm not sure that this stuff is good to get on auto paint as the result of overspray.
Crumpled newspaper has given me the best results with IG. A decent terry towel works okay too. Paper towels are a no-no. The same thing that makes them super absorbant makes them horrible at cleaning glass.

Ammonia
No-no, never use it on after-market "tint", only use the ammonia on the outside glass and mirrors.
