brakes suck
my ABS barly works and my brakes lock up very easy. iam dont know how ABS works but i thank mine is broken. I guess that it could be that iam used driving my moms car and the brakes never lock up and the 1995s ABS is not as good or what?

The rear ABS on my F350 works whenever the rear drum brakes are adjusted loose (out of adjustment). Once I adjust them tight, the rear brakes lock up on hard braking with no load in the bed. The brakes are more effective when adjusted tight though, and since I use the truck to haul alot of weight, I keep them adjusted so I can safely stop the weight and don't worry about the ABS feature not working right

Is your truck lifted? My F-150 (see sig) will lock up the rears too soon. I have them properly setup, they're self-adjusting. My front rotors have been changed to drilled rotors with performance pads. I guess the rotors are a little thicker than stock to absorb more heat. The truck stops pretty good but I think I'm going to get an adjustable proportioning valve. Braking power needs to be moved from the rear to the front. The truck is high enough that it squats a lot more which takes extra weight off the rear tires and puts it on the front tires. I've now got to compensate.
