In the last month a lot of stuff has started happening to my stock 6.0L 2004 F-350 FX4 with 23K miles.
1. Loss of power and loss of fuel milage, was getting about 515 miles per tank now around 350.
2. When tranny shifts into third I get a rough shift and clanking noise.
3. When braking from highway speeds and reach about 40 mph the rear end starts hopping around.
4. When cruising and reach 2000 rpm I hear a moan/roar.
Anyone else heard of or having these problems?

Reason: More info
Without engine type it's hard to diagnose, but I'll do my best for the gasser:

Maybe fuel filter. The gas we're forced to burn these days is trashy to say the least.

Sounds like one for the Auto gurus - sorry, can't help you there.

These rotars are not the best. Sounds like you need a resurface job.

Do you have ESOF? If you do the hubs might still be locked even though your dash light is not on. To check: See if you can turn either front axle shaft by hand when the dial is set at 2WD. Always chock the tires and make sure the key is not in the ignition - just to be safe.
Post other details of the truck, but especially the engine type and size and whether or not it is Shift on the Fly. Also any mods like chips and such.
Again, welcome aboard and please read the Guidelines and check the Read Firsttopics at the tops of each forum you visit.
Sorry about that, I updated my post. I changed my fuel filter out, but felt no difference and what a hassle to change the lower filter. I will check to see if the front axle is still engaged.
Sounds like you're headed to the dealer. I agree with the fuel filter comment, the rough shifts can be fixed with a computer reflash (odds are), front end starts hopping is definitely dealer, and the moan is common to the 6.0.
