I've got a '96 Explorer XLT 4door and have recently been carrying my mountain bike in the back. Since I fold the bench seat down and put the dirty tires on the seat back I was wondering if there exists a mat or liner that protects the back of the bench seat. I've got a cargo area floor liner I just need the seatback protection now.

Something like this: http://www.realtruck.com/products/floormats.php but without the cargo floor part (the "Highland custom floor liner"). Any help would be appriciated.

 

I bought a piece of indoor/outdoor carpet and cut it to fit the cargo and second seat area. It has a rubber backing so the spills or dirt won't come through. I roll it up behind the second seat when the seat is up. Works great, it's inexpensive and when it need to be clean you can simply pull it out and hose it off. Akso, it matches my gray interior quite well.
