I'm currently using Yahoo DSL. I'm not very satified with it. It seems there are many times it will just disconnect me, especially when someone calls.
And worse, there are times when I want to get online yet it won't connect. Sometimes it will just disconnect randomly while I'm surfing. Suddenly a webpage takes forever to load and then I found out the DSL went out.
Is this normal?

Not normal at all. Do a couple of simple checks, make sure you have a filter on each active phone line extension except the one that the DSL modem is plugged into. I also had a intermittent problem and it turned out the power supply brick to the router was going bad and would shut down every so often. It finally died and I relaced it now no problems. Check your CAt 5 cables that theyre not loose on the connectors and latch fully when plugged in. Also try using the reset button on your router and modem or just unplug them for a minute to reset them.
