I have a 1983 F-100 Pickup and I desperately need a new dash pad, The vinyl cover that covers the top of the dash and has the holes for the speaker grill. Does anyone besides ford make one and how much do they cost. The junkyards I have checked have junk thet looks worse than what I have now.

 

Check out your local speed shop for custom fit dash caps. They are made for the 80 to 86 F series pickups and come in a quite a few colors.
You could also check JC Whitney as they sell them
also. I have a 1983 Ford Flareside and ordered a new pad from Ford. It seemed that the only color Ford had left at the time was green so I had it dyed black. Good Luck.
