Rickster119 has it at 91.00 but there is 5 more days left. I think I'll put a bid of 150.00 on it. I got money to burn. Ha.

Nah. I think I will just put a piece of plywood back there!

I took one from an exploder and put in back there. With the spare in the back I even had to shorten it. The one for the Bronco is fairly rare so I figured I would try and grab it while its there.

Someone on here told me two years ago that I could have his. Never got it. Oh well, life goes on. Did the Explorer cover take much in the way of mods? I can steal one from the neighbor and one from the g/f's parents to cover my '93s.

Shortening it was not difficult just have to be creative to keep the internal spring that rolls it up from unwinding. I dont remember exactly how it was setup but mine did loose tension and I had to rewind the spring after I shortened the rod. Even if you cant figure it out on the first one and have to buy a second one it wont hurt your pocket as most scrap yards just about give the explorer roll up shades away. Length is not a problem the width is but if your spare is inside like mine cutting the explorer shade about 3 inches will be perfect. If your spare is outside the explorer shade will not be wide enough .

Yeah, both of mine have the external spare. Hmm... maybe I can get creative somehow. Beats the heck outta paying $90 on Ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-...QQcmdZViewItem
Here's the link for the crago shades (covers) I got a mocha one last week, red, blue and grey also are available, mine is nice looks like NOS. The current item number on eBay is 8020713965 the eBay store is Auto Parts Direct, phone # 1-888-371-3050 (ask for Dave) There is only a day left on the bidding which is at only 20 bucks, WOW! might be able to steal one if you act quick. I'm not affiliated with Auto Parts Direct just passing on some good info.

ok - I have one of those - so how do you use it? Are they ment to be used in certain years of Broncos? Is there some kind of mounting hardware i do not have - all I have it the shade.

Question Cargo shade mounting

I'm trying to figure that out now as I just got a cargo shade, I believe the rear cargo area panels from a '92 and up that had the cargo shade option are what are needed, although I have some Mustangs that have cargo shades and the mounts bolt on, so perhaps those could used instead of trying to locate the really hard to find Bronco panels with the molded in mounts. NH Hottie knows all about this maybe if we asked her real nice she'd post some more info. If the Mustang mounts workout I'll post a "how to" I'm really anxious to get my cargo shade installed in my '90.

I'm no expert. But I heard mentioned one time that these cargo covers come in the Eddie Bauer Broncos. Mine is a 95 EB. The panels have in them the holes where the two end caps of the shade hooks into, then there are channels that run all the way across the panels. The part that you pull out and has the handle, also has a small rod. The ends of this rod go into the channels of the panels. I hope this makes sense. I can take some pictures, but it'll have to wait until the weekend.
